In November of 1999, a full-blown idiot named Michael Hannon approached another full-blown, yet closeted, idiot named Spence White about joining musical forces and becoming a more powerful supergroup comprised of two full-blown idiots.  He spoke of a vision, carefully and painstakingly constructed, involving two guitars, harmonica, witty original songs, eclectic covers, improvisation, high energy, and the obligatory percussive egg, all converging to form the entertainment supernova that, today, we call The Knuckleheads.
Michael, the voice of VH1's "100 Hottest Hotties," Court TV's "Body of Evidence," and the Discovery Channel's "The Prosecutors," is a grizzled veteran of hundreds of radio and TV commercials. Spence has only 7 to his credit. (But he did carry a spear in "Hamlet" on Broadway in 1995, so why don't you put that in your bong and smoke it.) Having lovingly stunk up the stages of Boston Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, Don't Tell Mama, and numerous other venues in and around NYC, the Knuckleheads are favorites on the "Two Guys Named Chris Morning Show" in Greensboro, NC, Baruch College's WBMB-FM in New York, and the insanely lucrative Westchester bar mitzvah circuit. Their mega-viral Youtube hit, "Pony Up!", unofficial fight song of the SMU Mustangs, has been played on the Ford Stadium jumbotron in Dallas.  They are proud members of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, USA. The Sidewalk Cafe (6th St. & Ave. A) remains their beloved stompin' ground, five years running.

Michael Hannon
(also known as "Hano")
Spencer White
(also known as "The Inspector")
Kenneth Spencer White, Jr. is known to most of his friends as "Spence," but he enjoys making people who don't know him call him Spencer.  He was born May 8, 1968 and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia.  His parents taught him right from wrong, so he has never gotten into significant trouble.  He attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, where he met his beautiful, freakish wife, Niki (a.k.a."Nikadimus","The Deem") White, as well as his singing partner, Hano.  Spence also attended graduate school at New York University, so that means, technically, he could be a teacher.  He likes to watch The Weather Channel, and spend time with The Deem and their 8-year-old miniature pinscher, Lucy.  He almost never "goes out," because he has plenty of Budweiser in his refrigerator, and also because The Deem would tie him to a chair and beat him with a broom handle if he did.  He spends much time wondering why people can't just quit whining and do their job.  He only gets angry when he bumps his head, or when people are late for golf.  His grandfather, Kenneth L. "Pete" White, was a close personal friend

of Jerry Falwell.  His other grandfather, Charles G. Baber, was an executive at one of our nation's leading enema manufacturers.  Some have asserted that this lineage has had a direct and profound inluence on Spence's songwriting, but Spence says "poo-poo" to that.
The Knuckleheads:
Michael Francis Hannon, the third son of Janet Hannon, was birthed on a cold and blustery June afternoon, in Rockville Center, Long Island, in 1965.  The exact date is a subject of dispute.  After attending St. Joseph's Elementary School, Hano took his major in altar-boy sciences on to Garden City High School, where the acting / music bug bit hard, and Hano snagged the coveted role of Sandy in the Junior Class production of Grease.  Needless to say, the bar was raised once again at Adelphi University a few years later when he wrote, produced, directed, choreographed and starred in his never praised, quite unfairly maligned, one-man dance extravaganza, I AM MIKE.*  Hano is often stopped on the street by strangers who recognize him from his pivotal role as Gil Sawchuck on Law & Order.  He refuses to give autographs.  It has been said that Hano has "more problems than a math book, but fortunately, to help him cope,
he has his live-in labrador, Ree-Ree, a counselor, confidante, and true friend.  Hano could easily drop the "s" and go solo;  he is the very soul of The Knuckleheads.
* Hano has been known to exclaim, "I'm Mike!" loudly and repeatedly, in inappropriate settings, for no apparent reason.
